Are you looking for a great elementary or middle school in your neighborhood? Our schools are accepting applications now!

The deadline for applying to our 2019-20 Kindergarten class is Monday, April 1st at 5:00 pm.

Explore Schools are open-enrollment public schools. There are no fees, tuition, or testing for enrollment. Admissions to our Kindergarten class are conducted via blind lottery every April. For all other grades, applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

How to Apply

You may apply to any of our eight schools using our universal application, linked below. Indicate which school(s) you are interested in applying to by marking your preference on the application.

You can also apply to any of our schools by filling out the relevant application provided below. Please follow the submission directions on the application.

Lottery Process for Kindergarten Applicants

In order to be eligible for the 2019 Kindergarten lottery, your child must have been born on or before 12/31/2014. The manner in which you submit your application has NO bearing on your child’s chances of getting into the school.

All applications will be considered if received by April 1, 2019 by 5:00 pm.

Applications received after the deadline will be placed on the waitlist for selected Explore Schools locations.

If the number of applications received exceeds the number of spots available, we will run a lottery on April 5 at 8:00am. If you do not receive an invitation to our lottery by April 5, which will confirm location and time, please contact the school to confirm that we have received your application.
